Andrew Wileman is a consultant to CEOs and board-level clients of large multinational enterprises; he manages projects covering strategy, organisation, acquisitions and operational performance.
Andrew is also a business writer, author of the recent book DRIVING DOWN COST, and regular contributor to business journals such as Management Today, the FT, and the Conference Board.

Andrew Wileman was a senior partner with OC&C Strategy Consultants, from OC&C’s establishment in London in 1987. He started up and grew OC&C’s successful retail practice, and helped build other service sector practices. He had previously worked with Booz Allen & Hamilton and BCG, in the USA and Europe. He has an MBA from Harvard, and a First in English Literature from Cambridge.
Since the mid 1990s Andrew has worked independently, as a consultant, interim manager and business writer. He is currently retained as strategy adviser by a large European building materials business, by one of Europe’s top travel and technology companies, and by an offshore software development business based in Bangalore. His other recent consulting work has included multi-year performance programs for businesses bought by private equity.
Andrew's timely recent book, Driving Down Cost (Brealey 2008), received plaudits from the FT, The Economist, and The Conference Board (USA) among others, and has been translated into 15 languages. He also wrote Retail Power Plays (Macmillan), and he writes regularly for several business journals.
